Welcome to TechTutorIn ("TechTutorIn", "we", "us", "our"), an online academic support platform for Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, MATLAB, and Computer Science programming problems, operated from India and available at techtutorin.com. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. The Service

TechTutorIn lets students post academic questions (with optional images/files), have them answered by verified tutors within a defined deadline, chat with the tutor about the delivered answer, browse and unlock previously solved questions in the Browse Library, and access free study materials.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

• You must provide accurate information (name, valid email) when registering. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
• If you are under 18, you may use TechTutorIn only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
• Tutors must complete email verification and be approved by our admin team before answering questions. Tutor accounts found submitting plagiarised or low-quality work may be suspended.

3. How Questions & Payments Work

• When you post a question, a price (currently in the range of ₹185–₹220) is shown to you before any payment is taken.
• When a tutor accepts your question, you have a limited payment window (currently 15 minutes) to complete payment. If payment is not completed in time, the question is released and no amount is charged.
• After successful payment, the tutor must deliver a complete solution within the answer deadline (currently 2 hours). If the deadline is missed, you receive an automatic 100% refund (see our Refund Policy).
• Payments are processed securely by our payment gateway partner (e.g. Razorpay). We do not store your card, UPI, or banking credentials.
• Browse Library purchases unlock instantly and are final and non-refundable.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not use the platform to cheat in live examinations, or to post content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes anyone's rights.
• Do not attempt to contact tutors or students outside the platform to circumvent payment, and do not share account access.
• Do not upload malicious files, attempt to disrupt the service, or scrape platform content.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

• You retain rights to the questions and files you upload, and grant us a licence to store, display, and share them with the assigned tutor to provide the service.
• Solutions delivered on TechTutorIn are for your personal study use. Solutions may also be added to the Browse Library in anonymised form for other students to unlock.
• The TechTutorIn name, logo, design, and platform code are our property and may not be copied without permission.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Service Availability & Changes

We aim to keep the platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify features, pricing ranges, deadlines, or these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

8. Limitation of Liability

TechTutorIn provides academic assistance and does not guarantee any examination result, rank, or admission outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with refunds for undelivered paid answers processed per the Refund Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
